Sustainability, for us, begins with permanence. Pieces made to be kept.

We design furniture to last a lifetime — not only in durability, but in relevance. Our design language is intentionally restrained and free from trend, grounded in proportion, balance, and quiet refinement. When something is made to endure aesthetically as well as structurally, there is no need to replace it. Longevity is the most responsible choice we can make.
We choose materials for their strength, longevity, and capacity to endure —
both structurally and environmentally.
Each material is selected with consideration for its lifecycle, recoverability, and integrity over time.

Aluminium
Our aluminium components are made from 100% recyclable aluminium, chosen for its strength, longevity, and ability to be reused without compromising quality. Aluminium can be recycled repeatedly without degradation, allowing it to re-enter production cycles with significantly reduced energy compared to primary extraction. Its durability and corrosion resistance ensure structural performance across decades of use.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel offers structural clarity and resilience. Its resistance to corrosion allows it to perform in demanding environments while maintaining its integrity. It is fully recyclable and designed to endure — reducing the need for replacement and preserving material value over time.
Solid Timber
We select hardwoods such as American oak for their stability, strength, and quiet character. Solid timber matures rather than deteriorates. It can be refinished and restored, allowing each piece to extend its life across generations rather than being replaced. Our timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests that prioritise regeneration, biodiversity, and long-term stewardship.
Plywood
High-quality plywood allows efficient use of timber while maintaining strength and dimensional stability. By maximising yield from each log, it supports responsible material utilisation without compromising structural integrity.
Powder-Coated Finishes
Our metal components are protected with powder-coated finishes — a solvent-free process that eliminates liquid VOC carriers. The resulting surface is durable and resistant to wear, reducing the need for refinishing and extending product lifespan.
Considered Materials — and Considered Omissions
We are equally attentive to what we leave out. Our fabrics contain no PVC, no PFC, and no PFAS. They require no additional chemical treatments to achieve performance standards. By reducing unnecessary chemical inputs while maintaining durability and integrity, we minimise environmental and health impact without compromise.
Packaging
Sustainability extends beyond the object itself. Our packaging is predominantly made from recycled cardboard, supporting circular material streams and reducing reliance on virgin pulp. All components are designed to be widely recyclable. We are actively working to eliminate plastic bags and other petrochemical-based packaging materials wherever possible. Paper-based and recyclable alternatives are prioritised, and packaging formats are continually refined to reduce excess while ensuring protection in transit. Protection is essential. Excess is not.

We recognise sustainability is not a fixed state, but an ongoing responsibility.
Our commitment is long term.
We will continue to:
Increase recoverable and recycled material content
Strengthen circular design pathways
Reduce reliance on petrochemical-based inputs
Refine packaging systems
Expand renewable energy use across all locations
Where possible, all of our locations operate using net zero electricity. We prioritise renewable energy procurement, and accredited renewable energy schemes where direct supply is not yet available. Reducing operational emissions is fundamental to our responsibility as a manufacturer. We continue to expand renewable coverage across our sites as infrastructure and availability evolve.
